Northlake Academy is a nonprofit corporation founded in January 2009.  The school is located on the ground floor of beautifully restored 1938 Northlake Chapel, just off Kirkland's State Street, within walking distance to Peter Kirk Park and the Kirkland library.  Built green using recycled materials, and surrounded by child-friendly gardens that include an eco-swale and native vegetation, the school environment provides a great start for future stewards of our planet.

Northlake Academy welcomes all children.  Our program includes anti-bias curriculum in a setting which respects and values diversity.  Our organization does not discriminate on the basis of race, creed, religion, color, national origin, sex, age, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, or disability.  This policy applies to every aspect of our program, including client services and employment practices.  The center is fully accessible in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act.

Northlake Academy does not practice or promote any specific religious beliefs.  However, we respect the religious and cultural values of each child.  We encourage each family to share customs and traditions to create a rich learning experience for everyone.
